Women Listed Excellence Awards 5th Edition: Recognizing Serious Women-Led Businesses Across India

February 17, 2026

India is home to over 8 million women-owned enterprises, representing nearly 20% of the country’s MSMEs (Ministry of MSME). Participation is expanding. Institutional recognition, however, remains limited.

Across sectors — product businesses, services firms, digital ventures, home-run brands, and professional practices — women are building serious enterprises. Many grow profitably and sustainably, yet without structured acknowledgment that signals credibility in competitive markets. The Women Listed Excellence Awards – 5th Edition was established to address that structural gap.

Recognized among emerging women entrepreneurship awards in India, this platform evaluates substance over visibility. It is built on merit, discipline, and business strength — not popularity metrics.

Built on a Proven Foundation

Over the past four editions, the Women Listed Excellence Awards has recognized 85+ women founders and professionals across industries. The first three editions were curated. Awardees were handpicked after internal evaluation of business journey, resilience, and long-term contribution — building early credibility.

Since the fourth edition, the Awards have transitioned into a structured nomination-led model. Access expanded. Standards remained rigorous.

Today, the Awards functions as a serious women business awards platform in India, combining open nominations with defined evaluation criteria and Jury oversight.

Structured Evaluation. Defined Standards.

Every nomination undergoes a multi-stage review:

  • Category selection (applicants may apply under up to three relevant categories)
  • Internal screening and assessment
  • Jury-led evaluation based on defined benchmarks
  • Final selection

For the 5th Edition, we will be having 20 Winners will be selected across defined categories. Additionally, 26 Jury-Selected Runner-Up Nominees will present a live Elevator Pitch at the Awards event — positioning credible businesses before a curated ecosystem of founders, partners, and decision-makers.

There is no minimum revenue threshold. Businesses are evaluated on operational clarity, measurable traction, customer validation, innovation, and sustainability. This ensures the Awards remains aligned with serious builders — not surface visibility.

Categories Reflecting Real Entrepreneurial Metrics

The award framework spans 20 categories, including:

  • Women-Led Product Business of the Year
  • Women-Led Services Business of the Year
  • MSME Women Leader of the Year
  • Innovation in Product or Business Model Award
  • Bootstrapped Sustainable Growth Award
  • Sustainable Business Practice Award
  • Customer Trust & Loyalty Award
  • Social Impact Enterprise Award

Each category reflects business fundamentals — growth, systems, validation, and long-term execution.

Jury Depth & Institutional Credibility

The 5th Edition Jury includes respected leaders such as:

  • Anuradha Das Mathur, Founder & Dean, Vedica Scholars Programme for Women
  • Meena Bahl Kapoor, Founder & Managing Director, Astroyogi

Their collective experience across technology platforms, leadership development, and institution-building reinforces the Awards’ evaluation integrity. Recognition here is assessed — not awarded lightly.

Recognition as Strategic Leverage

In today’s business environment, credibility compounds. For women-led MSMEs and growing enterprises, structured recognition strengthens market positioning, influences partnership discussions, enhances customer trust, and signals operational maturity.

Winners receive:

  • Official Excellence Personalized Award Trophy & Certificate
  • Extensive visibility across the Women Listed platform
  • Access to a 10,000+ member ecosystem
  • Curated founder and ecosystem opportunities

More importantly, they join a recognized cohort shaping India’s women-led business landscape with seriousness and intent.

For Founders Building with Discipline

The Women Listed Excellence Awards is designed for founders and professionals who are building with structure — whether emerging, bootstrapped, scaling, or impact-driven.

If your business demonstrates clarity, measurable growth, and customer credibility, this platform aligns with you.

Nominations for the Women Listed Excellence Awards – 5th Edition are now open.

For women building thoughtfully and sustainably, recognition is not ornamental. It is strategic capital.
