Inclusion of Women in Entrepreneurship

July 16, 2022

Women entrepreneurs represent about one in three growth-oriented entrepreneurs active in the world today. On paper, things have never looked better for female entrepreneurs. But the reality is way far different from it. We have reached the moon but still, we cant see women taking over men’s positions easily. however with the passage of time society has evolved, and accepts women in business very well.

The Significant increase of women entrepreneurs has brought a lightning increase in the economic growth of the country. In India Measures like Atmanirbhar Bharat has empowered women and promoted the sustainable development of women entrepreneurs for balanced growth in the country.

According to a survey women tend to be better leaders than men. And we have some proven reasons behind this.

Women entrepreneurs want everybody to feel included and engaged.
Women business leaders are more likely to include their fellow co-workers and subordinates in decision-making. Making them more supportive and inclusive of people who are making an effort to improve their work. Women being less judgmental are willing to accept different points of view which helps in setting common goals for the growth of the business.

Women leaders tend to be more ambitious than men.
Here has been much research to back the fact that women are more determined and they pursue their goals very seriously. Perhaps because their business is their primary source of income, They try not to leave any stone unturned to achieve their goals. When they invest in a business they are determined to succeed. Also, it's highly unlikely, that women boast about their success they always think they can do better.

For women, Sucess has a different definition
For women, climbing the success ladder is not only about profits, but it is crucial. Passing on the legacy of their business to the next generations is essential for women to feel successful, they are often determined to create a social impact of their enterprise. For any women entrepreneur - It's not all just about money. They are more focused on a holistic approach to creating a fair ecosystem in society.

Over the years women have made their mark in diverse professions be it banking, law, politics, medicines, or administrative services, women tend to excel in all fields. There has been a steep rise in women's Entrepreneurship in the past few years too. The growth in the economy and the government measures supporting women in business have made it easier for women to flourish and be a part of the economic ecosystem.
