Behind the Scenes at Women Listed: How We Curate Powerful Panels and Conversations

June 24, 2025

At Women Listed, every event is an opportunity — not just to network or learn something new, but to witness powerful conversations unfold among women who are driving change across sectors.

But what audiences often don’t see is the quiet groundwork behind each session: the emails, DMs, coordination calls, schedule shuffles, and the intention that goes into creating the kind of gatherings that resonate deeply with women entrepreneurs and professionals in India.

How It Starts: From Inspiration to Invitation

The process of inviting special guests and panelists begins long before an event goes live. It often starts with a spark — discovering a founder whose story moved us, an expert whose work aligns with our mission, or a creator using her platform with purpose.

Some names are on our dream list from the start. Others we discover serendipitously — through social media, recommendations, or even in our own community. But once identified, the next step is outreach. Sometimes it's a quick yes. Other times, it takes a few messages and follow-ups. What remains constant is our belief in the value they can bring to the room.

What We Look For

We don’t chase titles or followers. We seek substance, energy, and relevance. We look for women who:

  • Are building something meaningful — whether it’s a business, a movement, or a mindset shift
  • Have lived experiences worth sharing — both the highs and the lessons
  • Can hold space for real, honest conversations
  • Understand the value of community, not just visibility

Because when a woman agrees to join us, she’s not just attending — she’s contributing her story, her insights, and a piece of her journey that others will connect with.

Voices That Have Lit Up the Room

Over time, we’ve been fortunate to host an inspiring range of women — across industries, stages of growth, and geographies. From thought leaders and changemakers like Poonam Barua, Dr. Ananta Singh Raghuvanshi, Dr. Prerna Kohli, and Priya Hingorani, to entrepreneurs like Simran Khara (Founder, Koparo Clean), Anshita Mehrotra (Founder, FixMyCurls), Geetika Anand Gupta (Co-Founder, MOPP Foods), Sonali Saraogi Singh (Co-Founder, Feed Smart), and Naina Ruhail (Co-Founder & Co-CEO, Vanity Wagon), and many more.

Each one has brought something unique: sharp insights, warmth, lived experience, or candid advice. And together, these voices have transformed our events into more than just scheduled panels — they’ve become shared experiences that uplift, inform, and inspire.

In India’s fast-growing but still unequal entrepreneurial landscape, visibility is power. When women hear from other women — especially those walking parallel paths — something shifts. Confidence grows. New ideas emerge. Collaborations begin.

Our goal isn’t just to “host” events. It’s to build bridges between women who’ve made it, those on the way, and those just starting out. It’s to say: There is space for you here. And your story matters too.

Looking Ahead

As we continue to build our events calendar and community, we remain committed to thoughtful curation over sheer scale. Each guest, each panel, and each conversation is chosen with care — because we believe that quality storytelling and meaningful representation matter deeply.

To every guest who’s joined us so far, thank you for showing up fully. And to those we’ll be reaching out to next — we hope you’ll be part of this journey.

At Women Listed, the spotlight is not the destination — it’s the starting point for something bigger.
