Nehaa Goyal’s Story: From Corporate Burnout to Starting her Healing-Focused Practice to Help Others

June 20, 2025

“I get it. Everyone’s life is different,” says Nehaa Goyal, a former corporate high-achiever who walked away from a 15-year career in luxury hotel and media sales to start over—this time, on her own terms. “If you’re grinding away at a 9-to-5 (sometimes more like 9-to-10 pm) job, juggling endless demands and deadlines, I see you.”

Nehaa’s decision to leave wasn’t impulsive. Beneath years of career success was a growing sense of emotional fatigue. “I was deep in the hustle, chasing approval, performing under pressure. But beneath all that success was a quiet storm — exhaustion, a nagging feeling that something just wasn’t right.” Eventually, her body forced a pause. “My body finally spoke up through illness, burnout, and sleepless nights.”

That experience became her turning point. “The corporate grind may not be the enemy for everyone but for me, it was my soul crying out for healing.” She soon realized the burnout wasn’t just professional—it was personal. “It wasn’t just external pressure. It was old emotional wounds I didn’t even know I was carrying: childhood stories, family patterns, ancestral baggage.”

While still in corporate, Nehaa had been casually learning tarot and reading cards for friends. A friend encouraged her to post on Instagram. “I was doubtful and scared, but I took a small, shaky step and posted. That little act opened up a whole new world for me.”

Today, Nehaa is a Trauma-Informed Empowerment Coach, DNA Astrologer, Tarot and Numerology Reader, working with women who look successful on the outside but feel stuck inside. “You may carry guilt, people-pleasing habits, pressure to perform, or inherited emotional baggage that was never questioned.”

Her offerings are as layered as the women she serves. “In my one-on-one online sessions, we gently explore childhood patterns, family stories, and nervous system reactions — not to label or judge, but to help you find freedom and create practical changes in your mindset and habits.” She also offers DNA Astrology, a rare and powerful reading rooted in Vedic astrology. “It helps reveal deep blocks and offers personalized insights and remedies. I’m one of the very few in North India offering this specialized service.”

Every session is conducted online for convenience. “This is not ‘one size fits all’ healing — it’s grounded, intuitive, and made just for your story.” Her consultations currently start at ₹5,000.

Nehaa’s first year after leaving her job wasn’t easy. “I didn’t have all the answers or know how to ‘build a brand.’ I just showed up — imperfectly and honestly — again and again.” What kept her going was the response. “Women started resonating with what I shared, saying, ‘You said what I couldn’t even put into words.’ That connection — being truly seen and understood — is my biggest milestone.”

Her mission is clear: “To help women stop carrying what’s not theirs.” She’s not here to fix anyone. “I avoid fear-based labels or dividing people into ‘healed’ or ‘unhealed.’ This is mindful inclusion — we all belong, flaws and shadows included.”

To aspiring entrepreneurs, Nehaa offers heartfelt advice: “Start messy. Start scared. Start imperfect. You don’t need to be healed to help others. You just need to be present, human, and open to growth. The rest follows.” You can connect with Nehaa Goyal through her Women Listed profile.
