  • Falguni Nayar: Founder and CEO of Nykaa Falguni Nayar launched Nykaa at the age of 49 after an illustrious corporate career spanning over two decades. Encouraged by her determined father, and growing up in a business environment Falguni Nayar learned the ins and outs of business and networking at an early age. After cementing her professional career with Kotak Mahindra Group, she kick-started her second innings in 2012 by creating an e-commerce platform selling women’s beauty products. 

  •  Divya Gokulnath: Co-founder of BYJU’S An educational platform to benefit students to learn better. She completed her studies from RV College and was preparing for her GRE to continue her studies abroad. This was when she joined Byju Raveendran’s classes as a student. Divya soon became a teacher at Byju’s and Afterwards she got married to him. When it was the time to launch the platform Byjus chose her for it. Today, BYJU’s is the most valuable ed-tech company in the world. Divya was featured as Linkedin’s top voices in the year 2019.

  • Kiran Mazumdar Shaw: Founder of Biocon India In the year 1998, she took a big leap after entering the pharmaceuticals industry with products like statins, insulin, immuno-suppressants, or monoclonal antibodies. Eventually, Mazumdar-Shaw expanded her venture not only in terms of products but also in production capacity. In the year 2004, Biocon’s IPO was oversubscribed 33 times with a market valuation of $1.11 billion, becoming the 2nd Indian company to cross the $1-billion mark on the 1st day of listing. Mazumdar-Shaw is also a person with numerous accolades including the Othmer Gold Medal and was listed in the 68th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes in the year 2019.

  • Suchi Mukherjee: Founder and CEO of Limeroad Suchi Mukherjee had the idea of a social fashion retail platform when she was expecting her second child in London. Afterwards, she moved back to India by herself in 2011 to bring her entrepreneur idea to fruition. Apart from the challenges of starting a business , setting infrastructure, bank processes, company filings, and much more, Suchi had to travel 1 time every month to visit her children and husband back in London. After achieving her starting capital of USD 5 million dollars, Suchi launched Limeroad in the year 2012 along with her partners, Prashant Malik and Ankush Mehra. 

  • Neerja Birla: Chairperson of Aditya Birla Capital and Executive Director at Aditya Birla Group Neerja Birla is one of the most prominent businesswomen in India. She is also involved in several philanthropic initiatives through her family foundation, which provides support to education, health care, and other social causes.
