In a city better known for its history than its high-tech skincare, Dr. Aishwarya Chauhan saw a gap—and decided to do something about it. With her background in dermatology and a clear vision, she founded Casa Derma Skin Solutions in 2022. The goal wasn’t just to open another clinic, but to bring credible, holistic skin and wellness care to a space where it was often misunderstood or out of reach.
What started as a solo effort has grown into a thriving, multi-floor practice offering everything from dermatology and laser treatments to spa therapies and yoga. And behind it all is Dr. Chauhan—focused, thoughtful, and committed to making good skin more than a privilege. It’s a mission rooted in practicality, backed by science, and built for real people.
From Global Training to Local Impact
Dr. Chauhan studied dermatology in the UK after completing her medical degree in India. That experience gave her exposure to advanced aesthetic practices, something she felt was missing back home—especially in smaller cities. She returned with a plan: bring those tools to places like Lucknow, but make them more accessible. Not just in price, but in perception.
"I grew up in a smaller town," she says. "I knew how limited the conversation was around skin and wellness. It was either dismissed or viewed as vanity. I wanted to change that."
What Makes Casa Derma Different
Casa Derma isn’t just a dermatology clinic. It’s one of the only standalone centers in the region that combines clinical and aesthetic dermatology with wellness services like meditation and yoga, salon treatments, and advanced laser therapies. The space is intentionally designed—both in its physical layout and service offering—to feel private, warm, and comfortable.
What also sets it apart is the flexibility. Treatments are customized not just to skin type, but to the person’s goals, concerns, and budget. One standout example: Casa Derma was among the first in North India to offer GFC and exosome therapy for hair loss, alongside autologous stem cell treatment—all with strong patient feedback.
Earning Trust, One Conversation at a Time
Starting a clinic focused on aesthetics in Lucknow wasn’t easy. Many people were skeptical—not just of the technology, but of the idea itself. So Dr. Chauhan and her team took a different approach. They hosted free consultations. Held demo days. Partnered with NGOs to offer free training and placements for underprivileged women. Slowly, the skepticism began to shift.
"We needed to show that this was about health, not vanity," she explains. "Once people understood that, they became curious. Then they became clients."
Growing Impact and Expanding Vision
Casa Derma now sees 20–25 new patients a day. A training institute launched just a few months ago already has over 20 students enrolled, with a full placement rate. And the next phase is underway: a second clinic in Kanpur, run on a franchise model.
Despite the business milestones, for Dr. Chauhan, the real achievement is seeing people regain confidence. She recalls one patient, a 50-year-old woman struggling with acne and pigmentation, who returned after treatment and laughed, saying her iPhone’s face recognition no longer worked—because her skin had changed so much.
Looking Ahead
Dr. Chauhan's goals for the coming year are focused but ambitious. She wants to expand the training institute further, adding courses in injectables, beauty, and online offerings for students outside Lucknow. At the same time, she hopes to build more Casa Derma-style clinics in other Tier 2 cities, scaling what she’s built while keeping the core values intact.
"We’re not just selling treatments. We’re changing how people think about self-care," she says. And in a place where that conversation was long overdue, it’s a change that’s starting to stick.
